Warranty

1.) No refunds, exchange only on any electrical parts. Definition of electrical is determined by Deerfoot Auto Parts personnel.

2.) Buyer affirms that before he has entered this agreement, the seller requested that they examine the parts or merchandise to ascertain whether there were defects therein; that the seller afforded to the buyer an adequate opportunity to make such examination before they entered in this agreement and that they have examined the goods as fully as they desire for the purpose of determining whether there are defects.

3.) A 90-day warranty applies unless otherwise noted on your invoice. All warranty claims MUST be presented to an authorized agent of Deerfoot Auto Parts within the specified period time for the warranty to be valid.

4.) Deerfoot Auto Parts, at their option, may replace the part, repair the part or refund the original purchase price.

5.) There will be no refunds on any special order items or deposits.

6.) All implied warranties are limited to the terms of this limited warranty. Consequential or incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.

7.) ABSOLUTLEY NO LABOR PAID ON WARRANTY EXCHANGED ITEMS. Extra parts, oil seals, etc. are not paid warranty claims.

8.) IMPROPER INSTALLATION WILL VOID WARRANTY AND IS DETERMIND BY AN AUTHORIZED DEERFOOT AUTO PARTS AGENT.

9.) This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover damage if the parts are used in connection with racing purposes or vehicles with racing equipment, or damaged by accident or misuse or any other non-OEM application. Warranty does not extend to commercial use.

10.) Proof of reprogramming is required for all items that necessitate reprogramming for proper function, for example, transmissions, modules, radios, etc. Deerfoot Auto Parts personnel will determine if reprogramming is necessary, not the internet.

11.) All new part orders must be picked up from Deerfoot Auto Parts within 15 days of the parts arrival to our premises. Failure to pick up parts in a timely manner will result in loss of deposit.

12.) Deerfoot Auto Parts does not assume responsibility for towing charges, lay up time, loss due to down time, cost of lodging, cost of vehicle transportation, car or truck rental or inconvenience.

13.) ALL CORES MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS TO RECEIVE CREDIT.

Engine and Transmission Warranty

14.) All engines are warrantied against cracked cylinder blocks or heads, bad cam or crankshaft and excessive oil consumption. Rear main seals should be replaced as it is not covered under warranty. New fluid and filters are required for warranty to be valid. Proof of purchases of the fluid and filters are required for a warranty claim.

15.) Engines are left as complete as possible for the convenience of the installer. Warranty does not cover attached items such as (but not limited to) water pump, distributor, fuel pump, exhaust manifolds, wires, harnesses, ignition parts, etc.

16.) All engines are sold without starter, alternator, steering pump, turbo, supercharger, AC compressor, ECU, etc.

17.) Engine oil pan, intake and timing cover gaskets are only warrantied for 30 days.

18.) Transmissions are warrantied to be in good working order including slippage, shifting failures or bearing noise. New fluids, seals and filters are required for warranty to be valid. Proof of purchases of those items are required for warranty to be valid. THE TORQUE CONVERTER MUST BE FULLY SEATED PROPERLY. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

19.) Transmissions must have new radiator and/or transmissions cooler installed at the time of installation or warranty is void. Proof of purchases are required for warranty claim.

20.) Defective engines or transmissions must remain installed in the vehicle until an authorized agent of Deerfoot Auto Parts is notified within your warranty period from the date of purchase for the warranty to be valid.

Returns on Non-defective Items

21.) All new and used returns that are non-defective must be returned within 30 days of date of purchase, accompanied by your invoice and bear our markings. NO EXECPTIONS!

22.) All new items returned after 15 days of initial purchase are subject to a 25% re-stock and administration fee.

23.) There will be a 25% re-stock and administration fee on all non-defective return items and canceled orders.

24.) All returns must be complete and not disassembled.
